As 2024 winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an unforgettable year here at Your Private Bar. It’s been one filled with hard work, unforgettable events, and exciting milestones. From intimate gatherings to massive celebrations, we’ve poured our hearts (and drinks!) into every moment.
Here’s a toast to the highlights that made 2024 so special:
Bartending for a Cause
This year, we had the privilege of bartending at approximately 360 events—each one unique, and many with a meaningful purpose. We’re especially proud to have supported numerous non-profit events. Giving back to our community is a core part of who we are, and it’s always rewarding to see our work help elevate such impactful causes.
Serving the Cityview Best Of Awards
We kicked off 2024 with a bang by serving the Cityview Best Of Awards Ceremony. Serving Des Moines’ finest to celebrate local talent and businesses was an honor. We love being part of the energy and excitement of an event like this—it truly sets the tone for the rest of the year.
The Ultimate Summer Experience: Iowa vs. Iowa State Game
Summer brought one of our most memorable events of the year: the Iowa vs. Iowa State game at Cowells Commons downtown. The Touchdown Tailgate set the stage with jumbo TVs and a lively crowd, while our bar trailer kept the drinks flowing. The atmosphere was electric, and it was incredible to be in the middle of it all, helping fans celebrate this iconic rivalry.
Settling Into Our New Headquarters
Behind the scenes, we’ve spent countless hours organizing and settling into our new headquarters. This space is a game-changer for us—it houses our rental products, mobile bar equipment, and merchandise. Having everything under one roof makes us more efficient and ready to serve you even better in the years ahead.
Looking Ahead
As we close the book on 2024, we’re filled with gratitude for our incredible clients, partners, and team who’ve made this year so special. We’re already looking forward to what’s in store for 2025—more events, new opportunities, and, of course, plenty of reasons to raise a glass.
